1. Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
   By visiting bachaotax.in or using our apps, chat, e-mail or WhatsApp support, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please stop using our services immediately.

2. Who Can Use
   You must be ≥ 18 years old and legally able to contract in India.

3. What We Do (and Don’t)
   • Platform Only: We connect you with qualified tax & corporate professionals.
   • No Legal Advice: All content is informational. Engage an independent advisor before acting.

4. Your Responsibilities
   • Provide accurate, up-to-date information and documents.
   • Respond promptly to our requests—delays may push out timelines or affect refunds.
   • Consent to receive communications via e-mail, WhatsApp, SMS or calls for service updates.

5. Pricing & Payment
   • Quotes are indicative until full payment is received.
   • Fees exclude applicable taxes (GST) and statutory charges unless stated.
   • We accept UPI, bank transfer or payment-gateway methods.

6. Service Timelines
   • All timelines are estimates—dependent on government portals, regulators & your cooperation.
   • Work “commences” once payment clears and your request is logged.
   • Inactive for 15 days after our reminder → “on hold.”
   Inactive for 45 days total → deemed abandoned, no refund.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. 48-Hour Cooling-Off
   Full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of payment and before work has commenced.

2. Non-Refundable Costs
   • All statutory/government fees (MCA, Stamp Duty, trademark, etc.)
   • Third-party charges (DSC issuance, notarisation)
   • Payment-gateway fees

3. Pro-Rata Refund After Start
   Refund = Amount paid – (non-refundable costs + service fees for work done)
   • Example: ₹10,000 paid, ₹2,500 DSC cost + ₹2,000 for 2 hours’ work → refund ₹5,500.

4. How to Request
   Email support@bachaotax.in with subject “Refund Request – <Your Phone No.>”
   We’ll acknowledge in 1 working day and decide within 3 working days of complete info.

5. Quality Issues
   If you’re unhappy, write to us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll investigate and may offer re-work or partial/full refund.

6. No Refund If
   • Final documents have been submitted to authorities.
   • Expedited/time-bound services already initiated.
   • Services sold under a “non-refundable” promotion.

7. Escalation
   If unsatisfied, escalate to our Grievance Officer at support@bachaotax.in. We’ll reply within 5 working days.

3. Privacy Policy

We comply with India’s IT Act 2000 & DPDP Act 2023.

1. Data We Collect
   • Identity: name, PAN, Aadhaar, DIN, address, email, phone.
   • Service Docs: filings, contracts, proofs you upload.
   • Transactions: orders, payments, invoices.
   • Usage: IP, device, browser, pages visited.

2. Why We Process
   • To deliver services and comply with laws.
   • For our legitimate interests (platform analytics, security).
   • With your consent (marketing communications).

3. Who Sees Your Data
   Only our Professionals (CAs, CSs, lawyers), government portals and essential service providers. We never sell your data.

4. Security & Retention
   • Encrypted storage & strict access controls.
   • We keep data only as long as required or by law.

5. Your Rights
   Access, correct, erase or object to processing. To exercise, email support@bachaotax.in.

4. General Legal Clauses

1. IP Rights
   All site content and code belong to Safe Ledger Pvt Ltd.

2. Liability Cap
   Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the professional fees you paid for that service.

3. Indemnity
   You’ll indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our Services.

4. Governing Law
   Indian law applies. Disputes first via good-faith talks, then arbitration in Bangalore under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
